invideo used to be the template-driven video maker a lot of small businesses tried first. In October 2026 its homepage describes something else: an agentic editor for serious creatives, with storyboards, a timeline it likens to Premiere Pro, custom agents and frontier models such as Seedance and Nano Banana. That is a strong product for people who want to make films. It is more than a bakery or a skincare shop needs to make a 15-second Reel ad.
The pricing reflects that shift. Plans are per seat and metered in credits that each model spends at its own rate; Starter is $20 a seat a month, or $10 billed annually under a 50% offer, and it only unlocks the Lite agent. Credits expire monthly, and the pricing page lists no free plan.
As of October 2026: Starter $20 a month (400 credits), Plus $60 (2,000 credits) and Max $150 (5,000 credits), each per seat when billed monthly, with annual billing at half that. Team, Scale and Enterprise sit above. Compare that with Vibiz Pro at $79 a month, or $63 a month billed yearly, which is a flat allowance of 250 generations and 50 posts rather than model credits. A side-by-side is on Vibiz vs invideo.
You have no footage and no editor. Vibiz, Creatify and Pictory generate the video for you. Pictory works from text you already have: a blog post, a script or a slide deck, filled with stock clips and an AI voice. Creatify works from a product link with AI actors and ad templates. Vibiz works from your website and composites your real product into UGC-style ads, then carries on to the campaign.
You film yourself. Descript is the natural pick: you delete words in the transcript to cut the video, and Studio Sound fixes the audio. VEED covers similar ground in the browser, with more ad templates and stronger subtitling. Both have free plans.
You want a presenter without filming. HeyGen's custom avatar uses your own face and voice and translates into 175+ languages. It suits explainers and founder messages more than product-in-hand ads.
Every tool here except Vibiz and Creatify stops at a video file. For a small business that is often where the real work starts: uploading to Ads Manager, choosing an audience, writing primary text, setting a budget, building somewhere to send the click. Vibiz does those steps for Meta and Google and shows its service fee before you approve; on a $25 daily budget that is $5 a day on a $25 daily budget. If you would rather keep running ads yourself, any of the editors will do, and you can see more formats on UGC ads.
Pick one product and one offer. Make the same ad in two tools from this list, using the free plan or trial where there is one (Vibiz shows your brand kit and first creatives before you pay). Judge three things: whether the product looks like the real thing, how long it took you, and how many more steps stand between the file and a live ad. Read the cancellation terms too; Pictory, for example, offers no refunds and deletes projects on cancellation.
