Writesonic built its name as an AI writer. In October 2026 the product is an AI search visibility platform: you track which prompts in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews recommend competitors, then use articles, audits and agentic workflows to close the gap. That is a real and growing need, and Writesonic is well placed for it. It is also a different purchase from a copywriting subscription. Starter costs $99 a month, or $79 a month billed yearly, and the cheapest plan is built around 50 tracked prompts and 15 AI articles.
If what you actually wanted was ad copy, product descriptions, captions or the visuals that go with them, a specialist tool will usually be cheaper and faster.
Blog posts and long-form content. Jasper is the natural home. It keeps brand voices and audiences on its Pro plan and is priced per seat, which is fine for one writer and adds up for a team.
Short copy for a few people. Copy.ai's Chat plan gives five seats unlimited chat words across OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini models. It is the cheapest seat here, though the rest of Copy.ai is now a sales platform.
Ad copy you plan to test. Anyword adds a predicted performance score to each variant, which helps when you run your own Meta or Google tests and want fewer losers.
Visuals. Canva is the default if you are happy to design each piece from templates yourself, and its free plan is generous.
Ads that go live. Pencil and Vibiz both create ads and launch them. Pencil is cheaper at entry and lists seven ad networks. Vibiz focuses paid launch on Meta and Google, adds landing pages with checkout and UGC-style video, and posts organically to eleven networks, TikTok and LinkedIn included as organic only.
Pick the one deliverable you produced most often in Writesonic and recreate it in two or three of these tools with the same brief. Time how long it takes to get something you would publish. Then look at the bill for a normal month: seats, word or generation caps, and any fees. Vibiz Pro is $79 a month, or $63 a month billed yearly with no free plan or trial, and paid campaigns add a service fee on ad budget, shown before you approve.
If AI search visibility is the part you want to keep, stay with Writesonic and add a creative tool next to it. For the head-to-head, read Vibiz vs Writesonic, or see what Vibiz does for social posts.
