How to use these benchmarks

Choose your industry, inspect the source category and compare the objective with your own campaign. Published traffic costs are not acquisition costs. Each leaf page keeps its underlying sources visible and explains the limits of the category mapping.

A range describes the cited reports; it does not combine their advertiser samples. We keep single-source pages out of search and hide unsupported metrics. Use your own account data for decisions once you have enough observations.

Common questions

What does a benchmark range mean?
The minimum and maximum values reported by the cited publishers, not a confidence interval or forecast.
Why do sources disagree?
They use different advertisers, objectives, dates, category definitions and sometimes averages versus medians.
Can I use these numbers to set a budget?
Use them as a starting assumption, then replace them with your own costs and conversion rates. Ad spend and business results are different quantities.

Sources and method

Every number above is copied from one of these pages, filed under the publisher's own category name. Sources verified 2026-10-18. We do not blend in estimates or fill gaps: a metric no source reports is not shown.
