Captions began as a captioning app and is now a full AI video editor. You upload or record a video, pick an AI Edit style, and it cuts pauses and filler words, adds zooms, B-roll, music and captions. You can also skip filming: make an AI twin of yourself or pick an AI actor, then change outfits, backgrounds or product inserts with a prompt. Its homepage cites 20M users, and it has absorbed Mirage Studio, its former avatar product.
Vibiz does not start from your footage. It starts from your website, extracts the brand and product, writes several hooks, and produces UGC-style video ads and static creatives. Then it does the parts an editor does not: it launches the ad as a Meta or Google campaign, builds the landing page with checkout, and schedules organic posts.
Your own footage. If you already talk to camera, Captions is the faster way to a polished video. Trimming, transitions, keyframes and a teleprompter are on the free tier, and the paid tiers add AI Edit, a chat-based editor and Clips, which turns one long video into a batch of short ones. Vibiz is not a timeline editor.
Captions themselves. 100+ languages, 100+ caption templates on paid plans, transcripts, plus AI translation and lip dub. Vibiz burns in captions in your brand style and your site's language, which suits ads but is narrower.
Price and a free start. Max is $24.99 a month as of October 2026 and there is a free version. Credits roll over, up to three times your monthly allowance. Vibiz Pro is $79 a month, or $63 a month billed yearly with no free plan or trial.
No footage needed. A small business without a person willing to be on camera can still get creator-style ads: pick one of 11 presets or upload a clip of someone you have rights to. The product in frame is your real packshot, so labels and colours match.
Running the ad. Captions exports a file. Vibiz builds the Meta campaign around the video (audiences, budget, placements, copy for up to three segments) and runs Google Search and Display too, with the service fee shown before you approve. For a $30 daily budget that is $6 a day on a $30 daily budget.
The rest of the funnel. Static ads, a landing page with checkout and posts to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and X come with the plan. More on the format at UGC ads.
Captions lists Max at $24.99 a month with 500 credits, Frontier at $69.99 with 1,400 credits, then Frontier 2x and 4x at $139.99 and $279.99, and custom Enterprise. The page notes these are iOS prices, so check what your web or Android checkout shows. Generative features (AI video, B-roll, voiceover, twin) draw on the credits; basic edits do not need them.
If you only need edited videos to post, Captions costs less. If you would otherwise pay for an editor, a landing page builder and someone to set up Meta ads, compare that total with Vibiz on the pricing page.
Take one product and make the same 30-second ad in each. In Captions, film it on your phone and let AI Edit finish it. In Vibiz, paste your URL and review the hooks it writes. Then ask which one you could put in front of buyers tomorrow, and how many steps stood between the file and a live ad.
