Creating and launching a Facebook ad takes three jobs: making the creative, setting up the campaign in Meta, and deciding what to change once it runs. The six options below split those jobs differently. Vibiz and Zeely make the creative and launch it for you; Meta's own Advantage+ automates the campaign but expects you to bring the creative; Canva plus Ads Manager is the do-it-yourself baseline; AdCreative.ai makes creatives you upload; and Birch (formerly Revealbot) runs rules on campaigns you already have. Vibiz is our product and is listed first, with its limits stated. Every other fact comes from the vendor's own site or help centre, with the date we checked it in the sources list.

What to look for

  1. Who makes the creative. You in a design tool, Meta's variations of your own ad, or a generator that starts from your website. Most small businesses run out of creative before they run out of budget.
  2. Who launches the campaign. Some tools publish into your ad account; others hand you files for Ads Manager. If it publishes, check whether ads arrive paused or live.
  3. Who decides what happens next. Advantage+ moves budget and audiences automatically, Birch follows rules you write, and a workspace with an agent can suggest the next change. Somebody has to pause the losers.
  4. Fees on top of ad spend. Zeely charges up to 12% when it runs your ads, Vibiz a tiered fee on the ad budget, and Birch prices its plans by your monthly spend. Meta bills only the ads.
  5. How the trial ends. Note whether a trial needs a card and what it turns into.

Best for small businesses that want Facebook ads made and launched without learning Ads Manager.

Starting price
Pro $79 a month, plus a fee on ad budget
Free plan or trial
No free plan or trial
Launches ads on
Meta and Google

Pros

  • Makes the images, UGC-style videos and copy from your website
  • Sets up the Meta campaign and waits for your approval
  • Can also build the landing page the ad points to

Cons

  • Paid ads on Meta and Google only; the rest is organic posting
  • No free plan or trial
  • A service fee on ad budget, a cost Ads Manager does not have

Vibiz is an AI marketing workspace for small businesses: paste your website and it makes your ads, videos, posts and landing pages, launches the ads on Meta and Google, and shows you what worked. For Facebook ads it generates the images and UGC-style videos, writes the copy, sets up the campaign on Meta, the platform behind Facebook and Instagram ads, and waits for your approval before anything goes live. It does the most of the three jobs in one place, and it can also build the landing page the ad points to. Its paid campaigns run on Meta and Google only; TikTok, LinkedIn and X are for organic posts. There is no free plan or trial: Pro is $79 a month, or $63 a month billed yearly, and launched ads carry a service fee on the ad budget (20% of the first $100 a day, 5% of the part up to $1,000 and 1% above), shown next to the budget before you approve. That fee is a cost Ads Manager does not have. It suits a small business owner without a media buyer who wants creative, launch and results in one workspace. See pricing and the AI ad generator.

2.Meta Advantage+

Meta Advantage+

Best for advertisers comfortable in Ads Manager who bring their own creative.

Starting price
Your ad budget
Free plan or trial
Meta's own tool; you pay for the ads
Launches ads on
Meta

Pros

  • Nothing to subscribe to; Meta bills only the ads you run
  • Automates audience, placements and campaign budget
  • Writes text variations and generates image variations of your ad

Cons

  • You still need an ad account and a starting creative
  • Image generation not available on Advantage+ sales campaigns
  • Some generative features limited by region, language and category

Meta Advantage+ is Meta's suite of AI features inside Ads Manager. Advantage+ sales campaigns combine Advantage+ audience, Advantage+ placements and Advantage+ campaign budget. Text generation in Ads Manager can write up to five variations of your primary text and headline, and Advantage+ creative can generate image variations based on your own ad. There is nothing to subscribe to: Meta bills the ads you run against the budget you set. Meta reports that advertisers using Advantage+ sales campaigns saw a 9% improvement in cost per conversion on average, in its own one-week test from December 3, 2024. The trade-offs are that you still need an ad account and a starting creative, image generation is not available on Advantage+ sales campaigns at the time of writing, and some generative features are limited by region, language and ad category. It suits anyone who already runs campaigns in Ads Manager, has creative to upload and wants Meta to handle targeting and budget.

Cons

6.Birch (formerly Revealbot)

Best for running and scaling campaigns you already have.

Starting price
$49 a month up to $10K monthly ad spend, or $45 billed annually
Free plan or trial
14-day free trial
Launches ads on
Connects Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok ad accounts

Pros

  • Rules act on campaigns as often as every 15 minutes
  • Stage creates ads from Google Drive media and existing setups
  • AI turns plain-language requests into rules

Cons

  • Does not describe generating creative
  • Priced by your monthly ad spend
  • You write the rules it follows

Birch is an ad automation platform. Its condition-based rules act on your campaigns automatically, as often as every 15 minutes, its Stage tool creates ads from Google Drive media by duplicating your existing setups, and its AI turns plain-language requests into rules. It works on campaigns and creative you already have; its homepage does not describe generating creative. Pricing depends on your monthly ad spend across connected Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok accounts: Essential is $49 a month at up to $10K of monthly spend, or $45 a month billed annually, and there is a 14-day free trial. It suits a business or freelancer already spending steadily on Meta who wants rules to do the daily checking.

Which fits your situation

  • You have no creative and no time for Ads Manager: Vibiz, or Zeely if you only sell online and only advertise on Facebook and Instagram.
  • You have creative and know Ads Manager: Meta Advantage+.
  • You want the lowest software cost and full control: Canva plus Ads Manager.
  • You need more static variations for an account you already run: AdCreative.ai.
  • Your campaigns work and you want them managed by rules: Birch.

Frequently asked questions

Use one tool for both steps. Vibiz makes the creative from your website and launches the campaign on Meta, and Zeely does the same for Facebook and Instagram from a simpler app. If you prefer to stay inside Meta, Ads Manager with Advantage+ automates targeting, placements and budget, but you still bring the creative.
