Hootsuite is one of the oldest social media management suites. It says more than 25 million people have used it over 18 years, and its plans page now calls the product a Social OS. The core is a shared calendar for scheduling across networks, a unified inbox for comments and DMs, analytics with competitor benchmarking, social listening with trend forecasting, and an AI assistant called Wisdom that drafts posts and answers questions about your social data. The homepage also mentions MCP connectors and more than 100 integrations. Higher tiers add approval workflows, message routing, customer satisfaction surveys and, on Enterprise, SSO, advanced listening and the Parliament employee advocacy tool.
Vibiz starts from the other end. You paste your website, it pulls out the logo, colours, tone of voice and products, and then it makes things: ad creatives, product photography, UGC-style video, a month of social posts, and landing pages and funnels with checkout. It schedules those posts to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and X from one calendar and collects comments and DMs in one inbox with a suggested reply. Paid campaigns run on Meta and Google. Organic posts on TikTok, LinkedIn and X are publishing only.
So the honest framing is that Hootsuite manages social output a team already produces, and Vibiz produces the output and then publishes or advertises it.
Team operations. If five people share one inbox, Hootsuite's assignments, skill-based routing, internal notes and productivity reports are built for that. Vibiz has an approval step on every post and a shared inbox, but no routing or team performance reporting.
Listening and research. Quick Search across 30 days of conversations, 90-day trend forecasts on Professional and up to 20 benchmarked competitors are things Vibiz does not attempt.
Governance. Enterprise adds SSO, custom compliance and expert onboarding. A regulated company with a procurement checklist will find Hootsuite easier to approve.
Channel count. Professional has unlimited social accounts. Vibiz Pro covers up to five brands and Ultra is unlimited.
The content gets made. Hootsuite's AI drafts text and images, but you still need a designer or a Canva habit for a consistent feed. Vibiz writes each caption for its channel and reuses the same product shots and video cuts as your ads, so the feed and the ad account look like one brand.
Paid campaigns, not just boosts. Hootsuite Professional lists automatic boosting of top posts. Vibiz builds and launches full Meta and Google campaigns, and the fee on ad budget appears before you approve. See how Vibiz runs ads.
Somewhere to land. Vibiz builds landing pages with checkout. Hootsuite does not describe pages.
Cost for a small team. Hootsuite charges per seat. As of October 2026 Standard is $99 per user a month and Advanced, where approvals live, is $399 per user, both billed annually. Vibiz Pro is $79 a month, or $63 a month billed yearly for the workspace.
Write down who will make next month's posts. If the answer is an in-house designer or an agency, and what you are missing is coordination, listening and reporting, trial Hootsuite for 14 days; it asks for no card. If the answer is "nobody, really", Vibiz shows your brand kit and a starter creative pack before you pay, so you can judge whether the posts it makes are good enough to publish.
